Two opening-odds conditions added to BetTune

Following requests and votes from BetTune PRO users in Tune Lab, we added two bet conditions for Standard filters.

  • Do not place a bet if the current odds are higher than the opening odds. Equal or lower odds pass this check.
  • Do not place a bet if the current odds are not equal to the opening odds. Only odds equal to the opening odds pass.

With opening odds of 2.00, the first allows 1.90 and 2.00, but blocks 2.10. The second allows only 2.00. These settings do not apply to Prediction-based filters. All other filter conditions still apply.

Honestly, our team finds these restrictions unusual. If the odds rise and a bet still meets your filter, but you want to skip it solely because the price is above opening, we would start by questioning the filter: does it actually reflect your strategy? If the odds dip slightly and the bet still passes, the same question applies: where should the acceptable price be defined?

Rising odds do not automatically make a bet valuable; line movement may reflect new information. Our point is that the reasons for accepting or rejecting a bet should fit the filter’s logic, rather than simply the fact that the odds changed.

Still, BetTune develops through user input as well as our own ideas. We implement requests users vote for, even when we would choose a different approach. Tune Lab lets PRO users suggest improvements and help shape our priorities.
