PS3838 API access rules are changing on 18 March

Planning to open a PS3838 account for API betting? There is an important change ahead: from 18 March 2026, new accounts will no longer receive API access automatically. Access requests will be subject to a security deposit and monthly betting turnover requirements.

This also applies to existing accounts that do not currently have API access. The conditions below concern PS3838 specifically, not direct access to Pinnacle API.

What is changing?

PS3838 will require a USD 10,000 security deposit per account, deducted from the Main balance. That single deposit covers a request for one, two or three sports.

The turnover requirement works differently: USD 100,000 in bets per month for each enabled sport separately.

For example, if you request football, tennis and basketball, the security deposit is USD 10,000 in total. You will then need USD 100,000 in monthly turnover on football, USD 100,000 on tennis and USD 100,000 on basketball. Betting USD 300,000 on football alone will not satisfy the requirement for all three sports.

Failure to meet the turnover requirement means losing the security deposit and having API access disabled. Choose the sports you request with your expected activity on each one in mind.

Access to more than three sports requires an additional form explaining the intended commercial use of the API. Those requests will be reviewed separately.

What if I already have API access?

The new access requirements concern accounts without API access. Accounts with active access still need to keep API usage proportionate to actual betting activity: excessive API usage with insufficient betting activity can lead to access being blocked.

Have USD 10,000 available on your Main balance for the security deposit and send our support team the list of sports you need. We will help you submit the request.

These are API access conditions, not a mandatory security deposit for an ordinary account used for manual betting. If you do not need the API, do not confuse the USD 10,000 security deposit with the deposit needed to open a sportsbook account.
